I have to admit I was a little hesitant to use the straight razor on my own. I mean I've went to barbers and gotten a shave and I always like the way it the blade looks on my medicine cabinet, but it took a couple months to actually use it. I watch a few you tube videos and practiced on the right way to hold the blade before shaving. Once I was comfortable with the pressure, I found that the blade, being long allowed for a shorter shave. Don't use it if you're in rush. It makes a great present. Leather strap not included.
