The salve contains cottonseed oil (skin conditioner) and petrolatum base (skin protector, emollient, and moisturizer). Its many applications include relief of chapped and dry skin, blemish treatment, diaper rash remedy, lip moisturizer and natural-looking lip gloss, dry skin moisturizer, minor burn relief, soothing the sting of minor burns, bites and stings of non-poisonous insects and all other conditions for which a soothing salve is useful.
